I'll jump right in her and create a discussion. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't see any discussions yet. Anyway... I'm into the book and feeling very inspired. My big question, right off the bat, though, is about implementing a lot of her ideas in a 42-minute period that is a regular (non-writing elective) English class. I have to hit literature and media literacy as well as writing. I'm not sure if she addresses this later on in the book, but I'd love to hear from my digital colleagues about their ideas for making Kittle's ideas work! (Stacey Kerr)
Hi Stacey, welcome to the discussion! Implementation of these strategies into a regular classroom is a concern for many of us. Discussions are being held through the the comments section on each page. We are only through the first couple chapters, but we have some good ideas being exchanged...we have yet to come up with an immediate solution at this time. You can access all the comments easily by clicking the 'Recently Edited Pages' section on the sidebar. I look forward to your input. (Jodi Douglas)
